I am a registered mental health professional and health behavioural change specialist, with over 35 years in clinical practice and corporate combined.
It is easy to prioritize family and work over your health and wellbeing. You may think you do not have time to invest in yourself or that your health is not affected by your daily habits, but it is. The impact of a stressful lifestyles, on one’s wellbeing can increase the risk of mental health problems such as anxiety and depression; and substance use problems. It also increases the risk of medical problems such as gastrointestinal problems, a weakened immune system, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension.
Why wait for a health issue to be diagnosed when you can prevent it.
Through a personalized program which incorporates health-, nutritional- and stress-assessments, positive and motivational psychology; sustainable change is possible. My clients have reported feeling more energized and focused, having a positive mindset, were sleeping better, making healthier nutrition choices, and were shifting towards their ideal weight. The ripple effects of change in one area of their lives to multiple areas, has been evident.
